Official policy

RoutineTracker Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the RoutineTracker Android application published by VAYLONEX LABS.

1Overview

RoutineTracker helps users schedule dated tasks, receive reminders, use a focus timer, review progress, display routines through widgets or wallpaper, and optionally work with a third-party AI provider. RoutineTracker does not require a user account and VAYLONEX LABS does not operate an account, analytics, cloud-sync, referral, or AI relay server for the app.

The developer does not receive your routine database or the backup files you export. Information leaves your device only when a feature you choose requires an external service, as described below.

2Information and local storage

The app itself does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or the contents of other apps. RoutineTracker stores the following information locally on your device when you use the related features:

  • task names, schedule dates, start and end times, status, and retention settings;
  • daily progress archives and task history;
  • focus-timer state and notification preferences;
  • theme, language, motivational text, widget, wallpaper, and other settings;
  • optional AI chat history, saved names, memory, provider, model, and encrypted API keys; and
  • Google Play subscription state needed to provide purchased PRO access.

3Optional AI assistant

The AI assistant is optional and is disabled until you connect a supported third-party AI provider using your own API key. When you send an AI message, your message and the routine context needed to answer it are sent directly from your device to the provider you selected. RoutineTracker does not proxy those requests through a VAYLONEX LABS server.

Your selected provider may process or retain requests under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send information you do not want to share with that provider. API keys saved by the app are encrypted using Android Keystore. Removing a key or clearing app data removes its local encrypted copy.

4Google Play and external services

Google Play processes app installation, updates, subscription purchases, payment information, cancellation, and purchase restoration under Google's policies. RoutineTracker receives only the purchase information needed to determine access; the app does not receive your complete payment-card details.

The current app configuration does not serve advertisements. Advertising SDK components may be present in the application package but remain disabled. If advertising is enabled in a future release, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure must be updated before that release.

Links opened from the app, including the official support page, are handled by your browser or the destination service and are subject to that service's privacy policy.

5Device permissions

Internet

Connects to your selected AI provider and Google Play services.

Notifications

Shows task, reminder, focus-timer, and planning alerts.

Exact alarms

Schedules time-sensitive routine reminders where Android permits.

Boot events

Restores scheduled reminders after a restart, app update, or time change.

Wallpaper

Applies or restores routine wallpaper only when you enable that feature.

Legacy storage

Limited to older Android versions where wallpaper restoration may require it.

6Backup and restore

RoutineTracker creates an exported backup only when you request one. You choose which supported categories to include and where to save the file. Password-protected backups are encrypted on your device. The password is not sent to VAYLONEX LABS and cannot be recovered by the developer.

RoutineTracker does not automatically upload backups to a developer-operated cloud service. A file may be handled by another storage provider only if you deliberately choose that provider through Android's file picker. Restoring a backup replaces the selected local data, so use only a trusted RoutineTracker backup.

7Data retention and deletion

Local routine information remains on your device until it is archived, deleted through the app, removed by its configured retention behavior, or erased by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Progress archives remain locally available until app data is cleared or replaced through a restore operation.

Exported files exist independently of the app and remain wherever you saved them until you delete them. Third-party AI providers and Google Play retain information according to their own policies.

8Security

RoutineTracker uses Android Keystore encryption for saved AI API keys and password-based authenticated encryption for protected backup files. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device, provider keys, and backup passwords protected, and install app updates from trusted sources.

9Children's privacy

RoutineTracker is a general productivity tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The app does not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has shared information with an external AI provider should contact that provider and use the support channel below.

10Your controls and choices

  • Use the core routine features without enabling AI.
  • Disable AI or remove any saved provider API key.
  • Allow or deny optional notifications, exact alarms, and wallpaper use through Android settings.
  • Choose whether to export a backup and what supported data to include.
  • Delete tasks, clear app storage, remove exported files, or uninstall RoutineTracker.
  • Manage or cancel a PRO subscription through Google Play.

11Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised when app functionality, external services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revision is published. Material changes should also be reflected in the app or its Google Play listing where appropriate.
